Individualized Oral Health Assessments
A complete oral health evaluation including teeth, gums, oral tissues, and head and neck screening, with routine oral cancer screening at every visit.

Professional Teeth Cleaning
Non-surgical periodontal care including scaling and root planing to gently remove buildup above and below the gumline and support healthy gums.

Stain Removal & Polishing
Gentle polishing to remove surface stains from food and drinks.
This leaves teeth feeling smooth, clean and refreshed.

Cavity Prevention Treatments
Protective fluoride and Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) applications to strengthen enamel, remineralize early decay and help slow or stop cavity progression using non-surgical options. Temporary fillings also available.

Advanced Periodontal & Laser Care
Soft tissue diode laser therapy to support gum health through bacterial reduction, pocket decontamination, and inflammation control. The laser may also assist in healing oral lesions such as cold sores and ulcers.

Whitening & Comfort Care
Professionally supervised in-home tooth whitening (coming soon) and temporary fillings to help protect teeth and relieve discomfort when permanent treatment is pending.

Nicolena is a Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist (RRDH) with over 16 years of experience providing personalized, preventative oral health care. Her approach is calm, patient-led and designed to meet people where they are. This includes seniors, individuals with mobility challenges, and clients who feel more comfortable receiving care at home.
Inspired by personal experiences caring for family members with complex health needs, Nicolena created Smiles on Route to make dental hygiene more accessible, flexible and supportive. Every appointment is unrushed, thoughtfully planned, and focused on building trust and long-term oral health.
